Northwest Special Education Cooperative is seeking a School Social Worker or School Counselor for placement in Stephenson County, for the 2024-2025 School Year. The successful candidate will:
–
teach social and communication skills to students with disabilities;
–
provide individual and small group therapy services as per IEPs;
–
provide outreach services to families of students;
–
participate on IEP teams;
–
and be a liaison for families regarding information/community resources.
Qualifications:
The qualified individual holds a Master's Degree in social work or counseling, as well as the appropriate Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Social Work or Counseling.
